I recommend the Grand Campaign DLC's to anyone who has enjoyed Panzer General & Panzer Corps. They introduce new battles that are normally not available. Also, they have very interesting briefings that give you some unusual objectives along with intelligence regarding enemy force structure and deployment. Unfortunately, they are only in written form. I love the voice briefings and I hope they can be added later. I like this WWII series because it is more accessable versus some grognard titles.

Great game. If you liked Panzer General, you will love Panzer Corps! To the front Herr General!

Play balance is not good enough (same as GC '39). After France is oompletely beaten, the game ends and you do not get a chance to invade England.

The play balance is not good enough for playing against AI. You can easily get decisive victory in each scenario even in the hardest level. It is the same in GC '40. Hope it will improve in GC '41.

Really deserves 6 stars. Best Wargame I own. Fascinating subject, incredible gameplay which happens to teach a history lesson re: the choices Hannibal faced. I have never felt more like an actual Commander than in this wargame. As mentioned, the AI feels like a human opponent. Please, an encore! This system looks perfect for simulating the life of Alexander as well.

I already played the beta, and... dude, what shall I say... This game is what every Panzer General Player dreamt of, and they even improved it since the beta. The only thing that could be better about this game is it's soundtrack. It's quite repetitive and so I decided to mute it and play the Panzer General II Soundtrack instead ;). And if the only thing worth complaining about a game ist it's soundtrack - I think that's quite a good evidence for a really, really, rally, ... , great game. Just buy the boxed edition! It's definitely worth the money. But first ensure you have enough time and tea for this game ;)

A very good but complex game, the ai helps run your empire so if your new to the game best bet is to start small, take control of 1 ship, maybe r&d until you get the hang of it.

This is an excellent turn-based tactical strategy game. Very few companies turn out games with as much attention to detail and Panzer Corp is no exception. My only real con about the game, is I wish it had campaigns for the entire 2nd World War, both Europe and Pacific, all sides, not just Germans. It is such an amazingly fun game, and with the scenario editor, and patience, you can indeed get every battle of the WWII. It has several difficulty settings for differing player skill levels and the ability to bring your troops along with you through to the next battle and upgrading them is a excellent addition.

8.0/10 - War in the East is a great game, a great richness and depth rarely seen in a wargame, without falling into the unit's micro-management. However, it reserve for a community of players who made the effort to read the manual. But once we crossed the line, this game is easier to master than it looks. Simulate the eastern front on this scale, with more detail and realism is, I think, become impossible. The future will tell me if I'm wrong...

"If Decisive Campaigns : Case Blue doesnt shine for the originality of its theatre of operations and for the gameplay mechanism used, the game still brings fun and entertainment with the addition of action cards. All in all, it still remains a good game in which every wargamer fan interested in the Eastern Front will have hours of fun with".
