Slitherine and Matrix Games are happy to release the comprehensive 1.8.0 update for the Battle Academy series. The update includes a number of bug fixes and optimizations, as well as the addition of cross-platform support for those using the iPad version releasing on the 14th of March. The update comes just in time for the release of the iPad version of Battle Academy, marking the first foray into portable gaming for the franchise.

Some tweaks, changes, and unit balancing to get this hailed title ready for the Operation Sealion release!
Slitherine and Matrix Games are happy to release the comprehensive 1.7.0 update for the Battle Academy series. The update includes a sizeable list of minor bug fixes and some other optimizations plus a bunch of unit balance changes. The update comes just before the highly anticipated release of Battle Academy – Operation Sealion, the latest exciting expansion to the series that lets the player battle over the supremacy of Britain by embarking on the hypothetical German invasion plan called Operation Sealion!

Award winning strategy title and flagship product of Slitherine Ltd’s. internal development team, BBC Battlefield Academy is renamed.
Originally launched in August 2010, the game was immediately proclaimed by both critics and players as one of the most innovative and enjoyable strategy games of the year for novices and grognards alike. The product was originally scheduled to have a number of add-ons and platform adaptations, but these have been held back after allegations of copyright infringement was initiated by Electronic Arts.

New patch adds maps and units for endless fun
Slitherine has just release a new patch for it’s recently released hit Battlefield Academy. The patch is available through the in-game auto updater and contains a host of new maps and units, which take the game to the next level. Iain McNeil, development director of Slitherine, said: ‘We are committed to supporting Battlefield Academy over the long term as we definitely feel the game deserves a lot of attention. We are willing to make this game an evolving project, with the contribution of the community. That is why we already started including suggestions from the players in this patch and we will keep doing this in the future”.

Hotseat play, tweaks and fixes – plus 4 new maps ready for download!
Matrix Games and Slitherine (www.slitherine.com) are thrilled to release the comprehensive 1.3.5 update for their new hit World War II tactical game, Battlefield Academy. The update comes with a pack of new maps, two single player survival maps and two multiplayer maps, in addition to plenty of new tweaks and improvements. Battlefield Academy now sports two new features: hotseat multiplayer, and unlimited zoom capabilities on the battle map! The update and new maps are available via the automatic updater function in the Battlefield Academy launch menu.
