General Oskar Potiorek, Commander of the Austrian forces in the Balkans expected a quick and easy victory, but unexpected resistance from Serbia led to the Battle of Cer that resulted into a serious defeat for the Austro-Hungarian Empire.

For the last two months the On Target Simulations team has been hard at work to polish the PC Game of the Year 2013 (awarded by The Wargamer) - Flashpoint Campaigns: Red Storm. The developers have been focused on the community feedback, and the 2.04 patch introduces a lot of improvements that the players have been requesting since the original release of the game.

Released in May 2010, this unique real-time operational strategy title has been improved and refined since its original launch, taking into account player feedback and ideas. Patch V4.6.279 further improves upon the game and provides a better overall experience. Acclaimed by both modern warfare specialists and wargaming enthusiasts, Command: Modern Air/Naval Operations has swept the awards since its release last September, including the Usenet’s Wargame of The Year 2013 and the gold medal for Grogheads Game of the Year 2013 readers’ award. Developers Warfare Sims have not rested on their laurels though as they have been working on several updates since the release of the game.
