A third installment to the behind-the-scenes video series on this grand strategy game’s development

Matrix Games (www.matrixgames.com) and Wastelands Interactive (www.wastelands-interactive.com) are pleased to release the third video developer diary in a series on the features and development considerations going in to their highly anticipated WWII grand strategy game, Time of Fury.

The new video is available on YouTube or for download. And while you’re at it, why not to subscribe to us on YouTube, Twitter, and Facebook where more exclusive Time of Fury details are sure to come!

David Heath, Director of Operations at Matrix Games, said, “As we draw nearer to Time of Fury’s release date there’s more and more reason to be excited. Check Matrix Games and the wargaming community soon for more details and inside looks at this great WWII strategy game!”

In World War II every single aspect of war was crucial: from troop movements to supply, from logistics to diplomacy, from innovation to careful use of terrain. Many games have tried to replicate the depth and complexity of this global conflict and only a few have managed to give an all around experience to players.

This is a game that truly replicates all these aspects. The developers of the highly successful Time of Wrath are back to the European theater of war with an ambitious project that allows players to truly experience what it was to be a decision maker of the period.

Time of Furyspans the whole war in Europe and gives players the opportunity to control all types of units, ground, air and naval. Not only that, each player will be able to pick a single country or selection of countries and fight his way against either the AI or in multiplayer in hotseat or Play by E-Mail. This innovative multiplayer feature will give player the chance to fight bigger scenarios against many opponents, giving the game a strategic angle that has no equal in the market. The game uses Slitherine’s revolutionary PBEM++ server system.

Friday, July 18, 2014

Buzz Aldrin’s Space Program Manager gets release date.

"But why, some say, the Moon? Why choose this as our goal? And they may well ask, why climb the highest mountain? Why, 35 years ago, fly the Atlantic? " - US President John F. Kennedy ; 1962.

On July 20th 1969, the Apollo 11 mission successfully landed. For the first time in history, human beings walked on the Moon. The conquest of space that had started a few years after the end of WWII reached its climax with a manned lunar landing. In competition with the USSR, the US gained a decisive advantage when images of Neil Armstrong, Buzz Aldrin and their lunar exploration module were broadcast on live TV all over the world from the Sea of Tranquillity. President Kennedy won his historic gamble by landing a man on the Moon and returning him safely to the Earth before the end of the decade. A whole new era of space conquests was opened…
