Long Awaited Mac Version of Award Winning Strategy Game Now Available

 Matrix Games in association with Worlds Apart Productions (www.worlds-apart.com) is proud to announce Star Chamber: The Harbinger Saga is now available for Mac OS X users everywhere (OS X 10.3 or later required).  This announcement comes hot off receiving honors as the Best Independent Game of 2005 from Computer Games Magazine and one of the Top Ten Games of 2005; not to mention Editorís Choice awards from both Computer Games and Computer Gaming World.  Star Chamber: The Harbinger Saga is a sci-fi themed experience that successfully melds card and strategy gaming into a whole new genre.  Now, all this great gameplay is available for Mac users as well!

Star Chamber: The Harbinger Saga features a unique set of single player campaigns along with enhanced graphics, an improved user interface, new maps, new cards, new sound effects, four player games, a tournament drafting system, and many minor adjustments to improve the game.

Star Chamber is a turn-based online strategy board game of space combat, destiny and power politics. Players use special decks of cards that represent the assets and abilities of their favorite alien races, bringing them to life and offering players the opportunity to customize their gameplay. With hundreds of different cards and multiple victory conditions, the number of strategies you can develop is endless. You can conquer your enemy's home world for a military victory, unearth ancient alien artifacts for a cultural win, or double-cross your way to a political victory at the Star Chamber. Cards include game elements such as special ships, heroes, politicians, and special alien technologies. The game models intrigue, economic planning, colonization, and both space and ground combat through both board and card game mechanics.
