Matrix Games in association with Worlds Apart Productions (www.worlds-apart.com) has released the final information on what will be contained in The Harbinger Saga expansion of Star ChamberStar Chamber is a highly acclaimed strategic trading card game set in a sci-fi themed universe.  Awarded the Computer Gaming World Editorís Choice (4.5 of 5 Stars) and a 8.8 rating (10 in Gameplay!) from GameSpot, Star Chamber successfully melds card and strategy gaming into a whole new experience!

Star Chamber: The Harbinger Saga has enhanced graphics and an improved user interface, new maps, new cards, new sound effects, four player games, a tournament drafting system, and many minor adjustments to improve the game.  The engine for managing online play is based on the critically acclaimed The Lord of the Rings Online Trading Card Game.

 

The digital download of Star Chamber: The Harbinger Saga will be available next week at the Matrix Games Online Store, with a boxed version to follow shortly thereafter.  This new edition will contain 2 single player campaigns, 2 starter decks (or 6 booster packs), 5 Atok Incident boosters, 5 event passes, and 5 exclusive promo cards only available when you purchase the Matrix Games edition.  For only $29.99 from the Matrix Online Store, the total value of the starter decks, booster packs, and event passes comes to $31.95 and that doesnít include the value of the single player campaigns or the 5 special promo cards.  The new Atok Incident, which is launching along with The Harbinger Saga, contains over 300 brand new cards to further increase the number of strategies in the already robust Star Chamber catalog.

 

Star Chamber is a turn-based online strategy board game of space combat, destiny and power politics. Players use special decks of cards that represent the assets and abilities of their favorite alien races, bringing them to life and offering players the opportunity to customize their gameplay. With hundreds of different cards and multiple victory conditions, the number of strategies you can develop is endless. You can conquer your enemy's home world for a military victory, unearth ancient alien artifacts for a cultural win, or double-cross your way to a political victory at the Star Chamber. Cards include game elements such as special ships, heroes, politicians, and special alien technologies. The game models intrigue, economic planning, colonization, and both space and ground combat through both board and card game mechanics. To End All Wars gets its first major patch!

Following the release of To End All Wars last summer, the biggest Great War strategy game gets a huge update today! Thanks you the great feedbacks on the game, we have been able dig into the code to create a much improved overall experience for this already solid game. The patch includes a great number of fixes, such as some of the strange naval movements in the Atlantic Ocean, as well as balance changes, including the artillery rework. Further changes include the addition of new generals (with historical pictures!) as well as various AI logic improvements. All of this underlines the developers’ continued support for To End All Wars in cooperation with the great community!
