Matrix Games Releases Uncommon Valor v2.41 Update

socials
Published on April 04, 2005

The changes in Uncommon Valor since 2.30 include ten bug fixes and four new features, some of each are based on the updated War in the Pacific design.  Fixes include tweaks to targeting airfields, coast watcher spotting, coastal defense effectiveness and some play-by-e-mail synchronization issues.  Patrol craft and minefields were both adjusted to emulate the routines used in War in the Pacific while two other changes make groups of submarines easier to spot and stop subs from following units into known minefields.  The patch is available from the Matrix Games website at www.matrixgames.com.

Uncommon Valor features campaign scenarios in the South Pacific during 1942 and 1943.  With incredible detail and accuracy and near infinite micro-management Uncommon Valor is one of the most robust strategy games produced by 2 By 3 Games.  Uncommon Valor also features an editor for units and scenarios for endless replay against an intelligent AI or against other live opponents via PBEM.
