Woodbridge, NJ, July 24th, 2003 - Matrix Games (http://www.matrixgames.com), Tri-Synergy (http://www.trisynergy.com) and Wargaming.net (http://www.wargaming.net) are pleased to announce a partnership to publish and distribute the new strategy game Massive Assault.

“Wargaming.net have produced a challenging and addictive futuristic 3D strategy game in their new title Massive Assault. To gamers familiar with their excellent work on DBA Online, the quality of this title should come as no surprise. We are delighted to have been selected to work with the Wargaming.net team as their exclusive distributors in North America for this exciting new release.” said David Heath, Director of Operations at Matrix Games.

Winning will not be easy as the AI will make you pay dearly for any tactical or strategic mistake. Massive Assault contains an original political system, preserving intrigue throughout each scenario, campaign or war. Each side has allied countries, unknown to the enemy. Secret allies can disclose and provide troops at any moment, surprisingly shifting the power balance in a particular region. The secret alliance concept provides endless replayability as well as increased excitement. In each game, the distribution of secret allies is totally different, which serves to create unique strategic situations. In order to win, you will have to employ the eternal principles of warfare, such as:

  • Using terrain to your advantage
  • Practicing flanking and enveloping maneuvers
  • Concentrating troops at the right place and time for maximum advantage
  • Cutting enemy supply routes
  • Performing screening maneuvers
  • Using guerrilla tactics and sabotage

Units include a variety of ground forces, ranging from reconnaissance to heavy mechs; air forces, and naval forces, including carriers, destroyers, amphibians and battleships. When liberating the continents, you will learn to coordinate huge naval landing operations, involving carrier battle groups, naval bombardments and air power. These and other challenges await you in Massive Assault!

Massive Assault features include:

  • Original political system based on "Secret Allies" provides endless replayability
  • Smooth and Dynamic Gameplay
  • Full 3D Graphic Engine
  • Huge 3D Landscapes
  • 26 Detailed 3D Units
  • Realistic Lighting, Explosions and Effects
  • 3D Sound
  • 6 Different Worlds (planets)

Pandora: Eclipse of Nashira gets release date

Thursday, August 28, 2014

Since the release of Pandora: First Contact in late 2013, developers from Proxy Studios have been carefully collecting players’ feedback and thinking about the pros and cons that were highlighted by the community. At the core of this debate were requests about the diversity in this 4X sci-fi game, and the richness of the diplomatic relations between the factions. As a result the team has been working hard to make the game deeper and released several patches and a free expansion – Return of Messari – that went in this direction, and brought brand new content with a game changer that ensured fun and challenge for the late game.

“This war, like the next war, is a war to end war.” (David Lloyd George – UK Prime Minister)
