Beta Call for World in Flames!

socials
Published on September 10, 2013

Imagine a world map which accurately depicts terrain at 90 kilometers per hex  (70,200 hexes) showing all major rivers, coastlines, island chains, and mountain ranges. The printed version of this map is 27 feet long and 9 feet tall! And yes you can buy that when you buy the game!

There are thousands of units with quantified historical capabilities from 250 countries with 8 major powers. It is a detailed simulation of the interactions between land, sea, and air forces on a global scale. More than 12 terrain types (Clear, Forest, Swamp, Jungle, Mountain, Desert, Desert-mountain, Ice, Lake, Sea, Qattara Depression, Tundra). This game is so complex the play guide and rules are enough to fill three large hard backed books!

Imagine all this (and more) in a single, massive Wargame and name it. Yes, it is World on Flames!

The computer version of Australian Design Group’s (www.a-d-g.com.au) classic board game, covering both the European and Pacific Theaters of Operations during World War II is finally coming on your screens this November. However, to let it happen, we need your help. Do you think you have the skills to face this huge wargame? Then visit this page and sign in for the Beta Recruitment!
